Pikes Peak Prep is excited to welcome our new second grade teacher Ms. Susan Angier!

Ms. Angier has worked in education for over twenty-two years and has been a licensed teacher for the past five years.  Her experience ranges from reading specialist, literacy specialist, and traditional classroom teaching.

Growing up in Wisconsin, both Ms. Angier’s parents were teachers so she knew from an early age that she was destined to work with scholars of all ages.  Upon graduating high school, Ms. Angier began her college education at Pikes Peak Community College and later transferred to Colorado Christian University where she obtained her Bachelors of Art in Early Childhood Education.  She later attended Walden University where she received her Masters in Science in Education with a focus in Reading Specialist.  Furthermore, she is considering advancing her education and getting her Doctorate degree in Education and would like to minor in English Language Learning.

When asked what she likes most about Pikes Peak Prep, she enjoys the relaxed environment and appreciates that we hold all of our scholars to high standards.  Even though she has only been at Pikes Peak Prep for one week, she can already tell that each of her scholars are eager to learn.

In her free time, Ms. Angier loves to read, bake, and do various crafts.

From everyone at Pikes Peak Prep, welcome Ms. Angier!  We are so lucky to have you!
